WELCOME! This Is Our Story

We met in our church youth group when Mombo was 13-years-old and I (Juan) was 15-years-old. We were both fired up for Jesus and independently doing evangelism on the streets of downtown Dallas, Texas. In 1988, we started dating and four years later we were married–a match made in heaven! Together, we have lived a life of adventure and followed Jesus to the ends of the earth. We have always been a little out of the box (okay a lot!) and have loved helping others to experience the same.

We are proud parents of four adults and one new granddaughter who will call us Obee & Mombo!

Now, after 30 years of full-time ministry as pastors, urban missionaries, and non-profit leaders, we feel God is calling us to serve internationally with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Our next 20 years of ministry will be traveling around the world to bring the love of Jesus to those suffering in darkness.

We are also leveraging our lifetime of experience to support, empower and equip the next generation of missionaries to be personally healthy and effective in reaching the nations. We want to pass on everything we have learned so that others can win at work and at home.

What Makes Us Unique

We are a true team. An important part of what we feel called to share is the victories we have experienced and trials we have overcome in marriage, family and ministry. Our passion is to help others become healthy, sustainable leaders who are fulfilling their calling and having fun doing it!

We are all about CREATIVITY.

We infuse our training with great stories, humor as well as compelling visuals and original music. We have used drama, music and the arts to share the good news of the gospel all over the world.

We have a HUGE heart for missions! We have led teams to serve around the world in countries such as Uganda, Ethiopia, Haiti, the Philippines, Colombia, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Mexico.
