April Missionary Update

We were invited to train missionary leaders at the YWAM European Leadership Gathering in Albania. We taught several workshops and met missions base directors from all over Europe–35 nations were represented! This photo is of some leaders we trained from YWAM Kyiv in the Ukraine. This base is doing amazing work building homes for Ukrainians displaced by the war.

Performing Arts Discipleship Training School uses music, dance and theater to share the gospel all over the world. These students are just about to leave for the mission field! We had so much fun sharing our experiences with using performing arts in missions and inspiring them to let the Holy Spirit use them as artists to reach people who may never encounter Jesus otherwise.

Mombo taught some of our young missionary volunteers called Kokua Crew. She taught on listeing to the voice of the Holy Spirit and responding to serve him locally and globally. Mombo is such a creative speaker, using props like a giant inflatable globe, pulling people out of the crowd for illustrations and having a giant game of follow the leader! So proud of my anointed wife and partner in crime.

One of my favorite parts of being a missionary is making friends around the world who serve Jesus and give it everything they’ve got. We recently trained this team from Koh Kong, Cambodia using Zoom. They are so inspiring because they travel from village to village sharing the gospel and making disciples in a country where only 2.8% know Jesus. These are our heroes!

1. Pray for our daughter, her husband and our two granddaughters as they are coming to our missions base for three months to receive special training at the Family Discipleship Training School. They are preparing for long-term missionary work in Thailand!

2. Pray for a new online missionary training we are creating that will be accredited with University of the Nations. This course will help missionaries around the world who don’t normally have access to these vital educational resources.
