February Missionary Update

The past few months we have been focused on training missionaries at our home missions campus in the Pacific Islands known as University of the Nations. Here we are training new missionaries on how to be healthy and sustainable as a part of the onboarding process to integrate them into their new ministry life.

Juan taught the staff of the Performing Arts Discipleship Training School on SONGWRITING FOR EVANGELISTIC OUTREACH. Juan has written hundreds of songs over his lifetime so this is a passion. It was so fun to see people write songs for the very first time. This team trains young missionaries in music, dance and theater to spread the gospel to the nations.

Our missions campus recently commissioned 700 young missionaries to go on outreach to 38 nations. These are special nights when we launch young people to take a step faith into following the call of God on their life to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matt 28:19).

Recently we were asked to train missionaries on How To Work Relationally With Leaders. This was a time of helping young people to “walk in other people’s shoes.” Good leadership is relational, not transactional as it describes in Ephesians 4:2-3,

“Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.”

1. Pray for the Lord to give direction on which countries he wants us to travel to for our extended ministry time in South America later this year. Pray that He will open and close doors as he guides us.

2. Pray for a new initiative we are creating to train “musicianaries” to utilize music for evangelism in many nations this summer.

3. Pray for the Gather25 event that we are hosting at our missions campus on February 28th-March 1st. It will be the largest gathering of Christians in history with over 10 thousand locations in 170 countries in over 100 languages!
