June 2025 Update

Our youngest son, Connor,  just graduated with his Masters Degree in Architectural Design from California Baptist Univeristy! He is now working for a Christian architectural firm in Seattle, Washington that designs churches and Christian schools. We could not be more proud!

While on the mainland to attend Connor’s graduation, Juan made a trip to visit his mom and dad in Oklahoma. The day he left, at 4:30am, he was catching an Uber to the airport in Oklahoma City. He was pretty exhausted and not in a talkative mood, but felt the Holy Spirit urging him to engage with his friendly driver. She honored him by sharing some very difficult circumstances she was struggling with.

She allowed Juan to share his testimony and when they arrived at the airport, she prayed with him to give her heart to Jesus! He was able to direct her to a great local church and she downloaded their app. Please pray for Chantay and her family as they start this new faith journey.

Juan was asked to teach again on using music for evangelism at YWAM Kona/ University of the Nations. He shared how God uses the arts to open hearts to Jesus. These young people are just about to leave on misionary outreach to many different nations. One of our values at YWAM is “Do first, then teach.” Juan was able to share story after story of how he used music to share the gospel in prisons, slums, schools and on the streets in many nations.

We had the privilege of training the students of Performing Arts Discipleship Training School in evangelism. They just got back from their missionary outreach in Turkey, Germany, France, Scotland and England. They shared the gospel through 38 performances of music, dance and acting!

PLEASE PRAY NOW!

1. Pray for our daughter, her husband and our two granddaughters as they are heading out on missionary outreach for the next 2 months as a part of the Family Discipleship Training School. After that they are headed out for long-term missionary work in Thailand!

2. Pray for Juan’s music team who are leaving soon to do evangelistic outreach with hundreds of other missionaries in two cities in Europe. We wish to reach many Muslim immigrants from the Middle East and North Africa who are now in Europe where we are free to share the gospel with them.

3. Pray for wisdom as we determine which countries we will go to in South America this fall to train missionary teams in the area of healthy leadership.
